Description:
Purpose:
The major responsibility of the methodology Junior specialist is toperform method validation and verification activities.
Routine job responsibilities include the writing andexecuting of method validation protocol and reports. TheJunior Specialist will demonstrate technical expertise in QCfunctions and will provide expert levels of technicaltroubleshooting to the QC team. The Junior Specialist willwork in a detail-oriented, compliant manner in afast-paced, moderately stressful environment, on multipleconcurrent projects. The Junior Specialist is expected toadhere to tight deadlines with shifting priorities.
TheJunior Specialist is expected to perform review of generated datafor conformance to approved quality standards and mustreport any nonconformance or deviations to management in atimely manner for immediate required action. TheAS&T Junior Specialist will report to Analytical
Science & Technology Manager and efficiently conduct allduties and responsibilities assigned and or delegated bythe AS&T Manager. Key responsibilities &Accountability:
• Daily set-up, operation, troubleshootingand maintenance of instrumentation such as HPLC, UV, GC,KF, FTIR, and
A.AS in accordance with written SOPs
• Participating in protocol development and execution fortest method validation / verification and relatedactivities
• Maintain lab work area and documentation in aneat and orderly fashion
• Maintain data within alaboratory notebook in a legible, organized, and compliantmanner, and transcribes or enters data into necessaryrecords in an accurate and timely manner
• Reviews generated data in a timely manner and elevates anyNon-Conformance, Out of Specification, or other Deviationto Laboratory Management promptly for furtherinvestigation.
• Performs investigative testingor other functions to assist with laboratoryinvestigations.
• Works in support of developmentprojects and may require weekend, off-shift work, orovertime as necessary to complete high priority workassignments
• Follows procedures and completes requireddocumentation or updates as appropriate as part ofPeriodic review process
• Works on development products,methods and projects to support R&Dinitiatives.
• Works with computers as well aslaboratory software, or proprietary software asneeded.
• Follow GLP, GMP and safety proceduresand maintain hygienic conditions in lab.• Evaluation of column as per the Qualification,Calibration and Evaluation schedule.
• Fill the related SOP Attachment after performing the calibrationand Label the Instrument •Reads and follow Equipment & Quality
SOP’s.
• Followsafety during work and all plants.
• Maintain anddemonstrate a high level of personal and professionalintegrity and Report any suspicious activity to laboratorymanagement.
• Additionalresponsibilities may be assigned by Laboratory Managementas needed.
Qualifications:
-Education
B.Pharm /M.Pharm orB.
Sc/M.Sc. Chemistry or Biochemistry.
-Experience:
• At least 1-year experience working in themethod validation/Verification/Method development andmethod Transfers.
• A Strong Background inAnalytical Method Validation/Verification of In-House
