How about you?
We are currently looking for a Brand Copywriter to join our MENA Brand department in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and help support the team in delivering creative storytelling and localized content to help our audience understand, love and use Deezer.
Reporting directly to the MENAT Brand & Marketing Director, your goal is to deliver creative English and Arabic copywriting solutions and localized Arabic translations in order to ensure that we speak with an authentic Deezer voice to our consumers in all communications and across all our markets.
What you will do:
Evangelist of brand, voice, style, tonality, and UX to raise content and product quality.
Generate innovative ideas, copy and content strategy to elevate the consumer brand experience for products, campaigns and events across all channels.
Collaborate across Deezer MENAT team and with the global copywriters to ensure copy aligns with the Deezer Brand voice and in-house guidelines.
Localize and creatively copywrite global campaigns to fit the local markets.
Translate copy for product and CRM helping bringing the why behind the product and break the barriers between brand and product through strong storytelling.
Overlook the CRM copy process and ensure consistent and on-time delivery.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
5+ years’ writing experience in a corporate or agency environment required, preferably as a copywriter or senior translator for a major brand, e-commerce company or digital design agency.
4+ years’ experience with proofreading and localization.
Ad agency or/and in marketing department experience is preferred.
Expertise in UX/UI copy translations.
Native Arabic speaker with expert command of the Arabic and English language (including spelling, grammar, punctuation).
Experience writing compelling and creative email, editorial and other online marketing material.
International experience and having worked in a multicultural environment is a real plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and content management systems.
Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes.
