Title: Membership Manager
We are looking for a Membership Manager to drive the growth of an established health and fitness club in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the Membership Department while leading by example, and prospect and close sales to help generate revenue for the club. This role offers a great opportunity make a significant difference to the business, where the Membership Manager will be positively encouraged to think outside the box and make things happen. Responsibilities include –
Ensure targets (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual) are achieved.
Manage the full sales process for the Membership Department, ensuring the highest standard of working
Training, and upskilling, Membership Team to working within the sale process to achieve their individual
Working alongside the General Manager to evaluate, develop, implement the sales strategy and
Manage potential leavers, exploring all avenues to encourage members to stay and processing
cancellations when required.
Manage the prospect and membership database and reports.
Develop and deliver an in reach and outreach strategy to generate more leads for the club.
Work in conjunction with the Marketing Department to promote the club locally with events and
Generate and foster affiliations and partnerships with community groups and local businesses.
Support the wider business with business development and cross selling to help the overall business
grow. Criteria –
At least three years proven successful track record in health and fitness membership sales.
Immaculately presented with outstanding confident communication and influencing skills.
Experience of generating your own leads.
Experience of working in a premium service environment.
Proven ability to work towards targets and KPIs.
Understanding of how to coach & manage performance to achieve targets.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Outcome-focused & self-driven to continually push the limits.
A cheerful, “can do” attitude at all times.
Ability to proactively engage with members & the wider community.
Able to work under pressure, with good time management skills
Flexibility and adaptable approach to work.
Self-motivated and energetic.
High level of integrity
Good admin skill with a good understanding of MS Office Suite
