As a Media Compliance Executive, you will review and issue approvals for marketing materials and other external communications under Deriv’s policies and applicable regulations. You will ensure accuracy and preciseness when it comes to regulatory content. Your knowledge of national and international laws and regulations will keep the stakeholders’ materials on track.
If you do not have a Compliance background and are keen on the role, you can still apply. Your role will ensure internal teams strictly adhere to and comply with policies and regulations, which will help Deriv avoid losses due to governance failure or non-compliance with regulations.
You’ll be part of our Compliance team, where we are responsible for managing regulatory compliance within the company. We perform a wide range of tasks, such as ensuring operational compliance with regulations, assisting with regulatory audits and annual statutory audits, conducting anti-fraud checks on clients, and analysing trade and payment activities for abuse. Our work is essential to the company’s sustainability and ambition.
Your challenges
Review and approve marketing materials, monthly reports, factsheets, request for proposals, website content, social media, and other communications per compliance requirements, Der iv’s policies, and applicable regulations.
Identify the different disclosure requirements for various marketing, public relations, and partnership activities and jurisdictions.
Be the subject matter expert on internal policies and the effective mitigation of compliance marketing risks.
Update stakeholders on new regulatory developments and advise them on overall messaging, disclaimers, terms and conditions, etc.
Work with the content and contracts teams while drafting TnC’s and simple contracts.
Support the content team by reviewing marketing/commercial/partner communication and information to maintain accuracy.
Provide guidance and training on regulatory developments to the Marketing team.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent in a related field
Basic understanding of compliance risk management process
Ability to interpret rules, regulations, and guidelines in relation to the business
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other major office suites
Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work with all levels of personnel with a high degree of integrity and maturity
Ability to present ideas and information clearly, logically, and succinctly
A proactive, ha nds-on, and collaborative attitude, with a readiness to take ownership of specific initiatives
Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, with the ability to project manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
