Job Description
Our client is one of the largest integrated Facility Management conglomerates in the GCC with various Business lines ranging from integrated facility management, safety services, security services and landscaping. It is currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its team in Doha, Qatar.
General Responsibilities:
- Overhaul and Repairs of various machinery equipment, pumps, valve, blower etc.
- Able to identify the damage part of the machinery and replace them.
- Commissioning of machinery units.
- Dismantling and assembling of equipment’s such as centrifugal pumps, strainer cleaning and repairs.
- Rectifying the shaft alignment of rotating equipment.
- Experience of using dial gauge, Vernier caliper and other tools.
- Able to do vibration test of pumps and motors.
- Able to replace mechanical seal of the pumps.
- Able to perform reverse dial indicator alignment.
- Able to perform rim & face alignment.
- Able to perform laser alignment.
- Able to perform soft foot alignment.
