ROLE PURPOSE:
NEOM is seeking an experienced master planning professional with a background in logistics facility master planning and property development, to lead the initiation and development of a large-scale road, rail and air connected logistics park masterplan which is required to accommodate a sizeable portfolio of highly-automated logistics facilities.
The candidate must have project management experience in the field of master planning and property development and must have a strong, results orientated project management background. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the governance and development of a large-scale NEOM logistics park master plan in a property development environment in close coordination with the NEOM Planning Authority, NEOM Sectors and external partners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
:
Take the leading role in the collaboration between SC&L with the Planning Authority and other NEOM Stakeholder teams, to ensure aligned development, approval and implementation of the logistics park master plan and subsequent transition to project delivery
Provide technical advice in the development and execution of the master plan
Manage and oversee the inception and development of the detailed master plans
Manage all necessary engagement with appointed consultants and experts in developing all stages of the master plan
Master Plan change management, application of guidelines, briefing architects and master planners, etc
Ensure streamlined communication, between the Planning Authority and Proponent of the master plan
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Extensive knowledge of the function of a planning authority or logistics facility developer in the overall implementation of the respective projects
Ability to manage different tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management, prioritization and efficiency skills
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent English verbal and written communication and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders in large, enterprise-wide projects
Proficient in mapping and CAD software, PowerPoint presentations skills
Degree in Urban planning, Master Planning, Urban Design
The ability to align a project strategically into a wider domain of NEOM’s respective project workstreams
Qualifications And Experience.
10 to 15 years’ experience in managing master plans/urban planning projects in a logistics or industrial environment, preferably with rail or air freight exposure
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and ability to operate independently and take initiative
