The Performance Marketing Lead plays a critical role in leading various automated marketing functions for Amazon MENA. The role is complex in nature, managing a wide-ranging nature of initiatives across paid traffic channels, managing variable investments and driving topline growth. The role influences product roadmap priorities and implementation for MENA through collaboration with worldwide teams and is frequently exposed to WW and MENA leadership.

The role manages a team whose focus is to optimize managed traffic channels (Paid Search, Social Advertising and Mobile Marketing) by judiciously using programmatic levers to drive efficient growth. The leader is expected to work with C level executives in Tier 1 partner companies, developing and implementing business cases including scaled investment models and implementing and managing these relationships. Key output goals for this role are – to drive new and repeat customer growth, topline revenue growth, and operate within efficient investment guardrails.

The position reports to Head of Traffic – Marketing.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES. Lead formulation of Automated Marketing strategies for MENA, including identifying key target customer segments, competitive environment, our program’s strengths and areas to invest for future innovations. Manage paid marketing channels including Paid Search, Mobile Marketing and Social Ads.. Drive topline growth through automated traffic channels while managing marketing budget, meeting ROI criteria.. Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews, budgets, planning and reporting processes for the automated channels.

Work with MENA and WW tech teams to define MENA parity requirements and ensure new projects on roadmap. Collaborate with other functional teams within the MENA Prime & Marketing team as well as finance team to identify and execute new business initiatives.. Collaborate with central WW Automated Marketing stakeholders and technical resources to ensure the company’s infrastructure, architecture, and site features support and enhance the effectiveness of Automated Marketing team’s programs..

Identify unique opportunities and challenges in MENA on the managed channels by leveraging learnings from customer insights and other WW locales. Share and learn worldwide best practices to mutually help worldwide marketing teams achieve goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS . 8+ years of marketing/product experience. Deep knowledge and experience in online advertising channels. Passion for metrics and quantitative/qualitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable plans. Experience managing high performing teams. Demonstrated skills in managing complex processes with multiple business owners. Demonstrated ability to work with global technology and business teams.

Strong business writing skills for reviews and marketing plans

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS . Masters degree or equivalent. 8+ years of marketing/product experience, in e-Commerce business
