Position Summary
Jubail is one of Bechtel’s most remarkable achievements—a city built from the sand up, requiring vast resources and logistical planning on an unprecedented scale. It the biggest civil engineering project in modern times—and it’s getting bigger. Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s. Bechtel serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local AE firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail and Ras-Al-Khair Industrial Cities. In June 2021, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings/ bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port & pipeline expansions, and more.
Work Location: Ras Al Khair
This position is based in Ras-Al-Khair. You will be required to commute 90 KM on a daily basis (one direction) using the available transportation facility (shuttle bus service)
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for management and coordination of all marketing activities for Jubail industrial city and Ras Al Khair industrial city,
Creation, implementation and management of the marketing plan and activity including.
Plan, develop and coordinate strategic and creative advertisement campaigns in line with Royal Commission objectives, covering industrial, residential and commercial aspects.
Coordinate and supervise common marketing activities with different stakeholders such Royal Commission headquarters, governmental entities, and ministries, etc..
Track, monitor and manage the marketing budget.
Manage Jubail and Ras Al-Khair cities participation to local or international events.
Liaise and work closely as a focal point with digital marketing and PR external agencies.
Responsible for creation and update of marketing material.
Anticipate and listen to investors by running regular online surveys and recommend a course of action to address their concerns.
Support continuous improvement within Royal Commission by implementing regular online surveys.
Monitor, prepare and report on marketing communications activities.
Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for investment opportunities marketing.
Maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure the brand is well communicated across all channels.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Technical:
University/College Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, master is a plus
Minimum of 10 years of related field experiences.
Essential Behavioral:
Fluent in Arabic and English language (speaking, reading & writing) while a 3rd language is a plus.
Strong knowledge of marketing, exhibitions and negotiation experience.
Conversant with vendors.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and types of investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Preferred Technical:
Experienced in industrial investment
Experience in setting conference and exhibitions
Familiar with Saudi markets and governmental entities
Capable of performing in-depth analyses
