EFS Facilities Services is seeking applications for the position ofManager-Bids.The purpose of the role is to develop and produce creative and innovative bid solutions and proposal documents that meet the client’s needs and aspirations, in an effort to translate the operational practice and procedures into proposals that sell.
Responsibilities
Review tenders received against bidding criteria
Carry out an initial review of the bid documents
Present a summary of the documents to the tender review committee
Act as the EFS lead with the client to build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process in order to create quality bids
Manage the entire bid production; include managing the operational team for technical aspects and the financial analyst for costing aspects
Maintain an electronic bid filing system on the shared drive containing all letters, documentation and any other documents received from the client
Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids
Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of bid & tender submissions. Plan, write and co-ordinate responses to bids and tenders
Maintain a high level of market intelligence, awareness of legislative requirements and best practice in order to create winning bids
Have a clear understanding and interpretation of the questions within the PQQ and tender documents
Arrange for tender kick-off and tender settlement meetings with the relevant parties, including presentation of bid to senior decision-makers
Manage and facilitate bid governance giving due attention to the exploration of risks and issues relating to the bid
Be able to construct relevant answers which clearly answer the client’s question and portray the company in the best possible light
Maintain records relating to submissions and successes
Responsible for organizing the review of the submission against client requirements
Reviewing all bid submissions for quality and accuracy
Obtain necessary sign-off so that bids can be delivered to the client
Seek feedback on successful and unsuccessful bids, discussing feedback with relevant parties and ensuring any lessons are learned for future bids
Produce post-bid reviews and handover costing documentation to mobilization team
Display a high commitment to the company.
Design and deliver presentations to the client
Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, Preferably Masters in Business Management/ Administrations / English Language or any other related field
5-8 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent English reading, writing & speaking skill would be must. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Problem solving skills and an eye for detail
Excellent planning skills
Advanced proficiency in MS office is also must
