The Logistics Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate purchasing , warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service, or planning services. Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
Create policies or procedures for logistics activities
Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements
Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.

Project management
Knowledge of Channel distribution
Vendor specific product knowledge
Managerial skills and knowledge
Supply chain management
8-10 years experience within logistics
Relevant degree, diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain, procurement or any other releant qualification
