Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure that commercial contracts meet Baker Hughes contractual requirements

Implement and develop and maintain global risk review procedures in accordance with Baker Hughes risk mitigation policies

Evaluate contractual risk and communicate to the larger organization

Be accountable for overall quality of contracts globally

Lead, mentor, coach and develop teammates in supporting contracts reviews


Own the contract development process, including writing, reviewing and implementation of risk mitigation strategies

Provides cross-functional leadership in support of contract development and negotiations

Partner with Legal and Operations teams in contract review and development

Lead or support contract negotiations, engaging directly with customers to assist in closing deals

Coordinate Functions (Legal, Finance, Tax, Application Engineering, Sales, Services Execution and Projects) during contract preparation to ensure clean and clear terms, and scopes of work. Lead contract handovers.

Manage the risk management process for Surface Pressure Control Projects deals, including process improvement and implementation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sales). Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Contracts or Risk Mitigation.
