Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect to join our team!

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Responsibility for Parsons’s landscape architecture for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with other delivery partners. QIP is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Project Director – Transport.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports.
Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. Interfaces with suppliers as required.
Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
Provides the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.
Provides technical guidance to Architectural Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Degree Architecture or related discipline with minimum 10 years’ experience in mega construction projects, specifically strong landscape architecture experience across city-wide programs.
Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant third-party stakeholder management, including statutory authorities in obtaining consents, permits and permissions.
Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
Strong communication skills in English.

Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
Ability to work in and lead teams. Ability to follow through. Ability to clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
Ability to manage and work in a team, deliver objectives and targets.
Strong Contractor Management skills.
