Position Summary

Deliver account growth to named accounts, developing Revenue and Market Penetration for Oceaneering’s IMDS business lines and wider company goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL


Help define strategy and execution plan to achieve defined account growth objectives.

Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue opportunities, and win new business resulting in significant revenue growth.

Gain insight and understanding of upcoming customer activity.

Identify specific Customer needs and seek to shape desired solution.

Create visibility into accounts organization, beyond procurement and use to shape innovation, inform cross selling, drive new sales opportunities, and improve customer intimacy.

Raise awareness of Oceaneerings capabilities within the account.

Identify and expand customer relationships within the account.

Identify and engage key buyers and contacts.

Present / Educate and discuss Oceaneering solutions tailored to customers’ requirements.


Ensure that customer interactions have defined objectives, structure and are aligned with the customers buying process and needs.

Ensure that feedback from each interaction as well as resulting actions are appropriately documented and tracked. (CRM) – Track and Report Account Activity.

Shape opportunities pre RFQ.

Participate in win strategy and RFQ forming.

Arrange / Create client social interactions.

Conduct periodic reviews of progress against plan.

Adjust and refine account plans based on progress.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Preferred, Engineering and/or Business degree, significant or equivalent Industry experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Significant experience of Business development and Sales

Basic understanding of the following services:

Inspection Services, NDT, Advanced NDT

Condition Monitoring Services

Integrity Management

ROV Services / ROV Tooling

Wider Oceaneering Capabilities and how to cross sell.

Oil and Gas Market

Shipping / Bulk Cargo Industry

Renewables Industry

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Knowledge of database software e.g. CRM; Design software, Internet software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software and Word Processing software

Ability to manage and monitor Sales budget.

Ability to travel internationally and domestically.

Ability to determine and meet customer needs.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
