IT Project Manager responsibilities include working closely with Agency IT Managers and HO Teams to deliver technology related projects in the region by preparing comprehensive action plans , timeframes and budgets for projects.
In this role, he will provide strong leadership in managing multiple IT projects in the areas of IT infrastructure, solution development, business application implementations, information security and technology transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong project and people management skills with a proven ability to successfully manage change and motivate teams.
He will perform various coordinating tasks like schedule management and administrative duties like maintaining project documentation . Ultimately Project Manager’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meeting CMA CGM standards and guidelines.
The candidate is expected to have excellent time management and communication skills to collaborate with the project managers and product owners to deliver results and deadlines.
Works with other Technology Function Team Leads to deliver the best solutions for the business
Takes a lead role in developing the holistic technology roadmap, validating the inputs of various teams
Oversees identifying technology gaps, proposes and implement the required changes to cover potential risks
Review and report progress to key stakeholders on progress against IT delivery priorities and budgets, dealing with escalations as necessary
Coordinate project management activities , resources, equipment and information.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation , plans and reports
Ensure the standards and requirements of the project are met.
Act as a key resource and liaison to other functional areas of the business, building cross-functional relationships as needed
Solid organizational skills , including multi-tasking and time management
Strong teamworking skills
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent certificates (PMP, PRINCE2, ITSM, ITIL, etc.) are required
