Job Objective;
Oversee the strategic planning procedures for ADAFSA’s Information and Communications Technology, guarantee management and supervision of the enhancement of new and significant IT system improvements, and supervise projects that align with ADAFSA’s strategy.
The post holder will be reporting to (IT Division Director).
Duties and Responsibilities
Comply with ADAFSA’s policies and procedures and the section’s strategy.
Participate in the development of the Division’s annual budget.
Implement financial and procurement policies and procedures in light of the current regulations in place in ADAFSA.
Submit proposals aimed at identifying potential areas for improving policies and procedures and develop new policies.
Participate in training and empowering human resources and building management skills
Apply HR policies and procedures to manage the affairs of all employees in the Section
Upgrade ADAFSA’s information system and ensure adaptation to the evolution of complex systems by planning the use of advanced software products, thereby contributing to implementation quality and speed.
Manage hardware and software vendors for IT operations.
Ensure that all vendors follow the terms and conditions set out in the contract.
Manage the implementation of the Operational Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to illustrate the process of restoring data access (data recovery) to resume critical operations in cases of data loss and handle unexpected or sudden loss of key personnel.
Ensure that overall and individual work performance is evaluated to determine effectiveness in providing high quality products within time and cost constraints.
Ensure the preparation of long- and short-term strategic plans related to information technology for the Section.
Manage government initiatives and digital transformation of services.
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Prepare follow-up reports on indicators, develop and track team performance.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security or a similar discipline.
10 years of relevant work experience.
