Position Summary:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated construction projects to ensure site safety, project quality, and expected profitability is achieved within targeted time frame. This position report to the Installation Superintendent, Installation Manager, Branch Manager and/or District Installation Manager. Direct reports include Field Operatives.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the daily coordination of new delivery and installation.
Supervising and managing a team of installation technicians during installation and delivery
Enforce Abyat safety policy at all work sites.
Accurately forecast the installation hours for each throughout the installation and delivery process.
Follow processes as outlined in the Aziz system.
Work with general contractors and other trades to ensure business goals are met.
Manage multiple installations and delivery, coordinate start dates with customers, and ensure just in time delivery of items.
Support and ensure that field operatives are on task to meet customer project goals and Abyat profitability target.
Discuss with Management to discuss customer progress, issues, and action/recovery plans.
Discuss with sales operation to ensure accurate scheduling of new items and ensure booked orders contain the proper hours necessary to meet expected profit margins.
Education:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university or a 2-year degree from an approved technical school preferred. Equivalent work experience in the relevant industry accepted in lieu of degree.
Experience:
At least 2 years experience and/or training in the relevant industry as well as one year leading people towards a common goal.
Specific Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with owners/managers, general contractors, developers, and all levels of employees.
Ability to prioritize tasks, effectively manage projects, and overcome obstacles.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with Abyat customers.
Ability to understand and assess business needs, develop and implement action plans, effectively manage multiple installations and delivery, and lead personnel to deliver desired results.
Become proficient in SAP and be able to use it as needed.
