Philip Morris Management Services Middle East Ltd. is looking for a qualified Insights Manager who will actively contribute to the development of PMI brands from a consumer standpoint. The role will be responsible to generate and contextualize consumer and market insights and translate those into actionable business strategies and relevant innovation for PMI consumers.
Your ‘day to day’. Design and implement research studies to help the markets achieve the business objectives lead the analysis and interpretation of results present key findings and recommendations to regional/local management teams. . Drive portfolio and programs development by identifying and capitalizing on consumer, market and societal trends and identifying long- term opportunities. . Provide deep understanding of consumers’ behaviours, attitudes, values and aspirations within relevant consumer segments across assigned markets.
. Use advanced knowledge and expertise of digital research technologies and online analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media listening tools). Upskill the rest of the team on these methodologies and build best practices.. Harnesses consumer, market and retail information to feed insights generation and innovation processes. . Keep abreast of the latest innovations in market research to ensure the most relevant and advanced methodologies are used to facilitate the collection of actionable consumer and brand knowledge.
. Actively seek out concept and project knowledge, learnings, and best practices from other markets. Encourage and promote cross-market fertilization of ideas with key stakeholders locally and internationally.
Who we’re looking for. Business or Marketing Degrees preferred, ideally with a focus on quantitative techniques (Economy, Statistics, and Mathematics).. 10+ years’ working experience in marketing or consumer experience functions with minimum 6-7 years of experience in market research within an agency and/or client side.. Solid understanding and experience in commercial market research including a passion for understanding what adult consumers think and feel throughout the Consumer Journey and ability to build the empathy is a must.
Experience withtext and statistical analytics, coding (Python/R), data mining, certification in Google Analytics and B2C customer-oriented metrics is a strong plus..
Experience workingwith data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Stratifyd, Tableau) is preferable. . Strategic thinking, storytelling (balancing between insights and actionability in a compelling, clear and impactful way) and manifested managerial talent is a plus.. English is a must, Arabic is a plus.
