The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully-furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one-kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. The hotel is conveniently located next to a souk, offering a variety of shops under one roof. It is only a ten-minute drive from the city’s international airport, five minutes from the golf course and the Convention Centre, and 15 minutes from the Corniche and the city centre.
Under the supervision of the Director of human resourcesand in coordination with hotel doctor, the staff nurse is overall in-charge of medical and office administration andof cases involving staff, insurance administration. He/she is also in-charge of assisting the implementation of scheduled physical exams, as well as other medical/hygiene related tasks.
Checks supplies of medicines and materialsto ensure par stock level is maintained.
Assists the human resources team with office administration tasks.
Receives insurance claims from staff and logs the same for proper administration.
Advises staff on procedural and documentary requirements still needed in insurance claims and/or reimbursements.
Records changes in status of staff which have significant impact on the insurance package.
Practices and role-models the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Shangri-La Hospitality.
Be environmentally friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reuse whenever applicable.
College graduate (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Registered Nurse and passed the Licensure examination
2 years working experienceas nurse
Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
Proficient in computer operations (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
