Job Description
The role of the HR Business Partner is to ensure smooth and compliant day-to-day Business Partnership, with a strong focus on recruitment operations.
Key responsibilities and duties
Recruitment
- ‒ Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and fill open positions timely according to the evolving staffing plan with high quality candidates. In addition, pro-actively support the Emiratization efforts of the company by ensuring a specific focus on sourcing Emirati talent
- ‒ Own the whole recruitment process, starting from working with the hiring manager on job description to vendor identification, interviewing and final candidate selection. Co-ordinate with Talent Management on testing and with HR Analyst on official documentation (CID, etc.)
- ‒ Ensure pro-active, responsive and timely actions in relation to internal clients, candidates and vendors. Provide a positive experience for all parties involved
- ‒ Identify and engage recruiters who will work most effectively and negotiate beneficial engagement terms without compromising quality. Monitor, nurture and develop existing relationships. Maintain a preferred supplier list and performance metrics to monitor quality and success rates
- ‒ Schedule interviews, keep track of progress, manage the CV database, maintain records of candidates interviewed, solicit and keep records of interview feedback, etc.
- ‒ Support portfolio companies in recruitment efforts as and when needed by advising on their recruitment process and/or providing candidates, sometimes including screening and managing the interview process
- ‒ Onboard new hires
Strategy Project Implementation
- · Project manage the operating model workstreams and provide action tracking and reporting including for contingent workstreams
- · Complete job description review for all roles
- · Assist with salary and compensation benchmarking project including preparing presentations
- · Complete the construction of functional career paths for all back office functions
- · Manage communications processes to departments and staff impacted by organisational changes
Other
- – Actively contribute to the efficient operations of the HR department including assisting employee relations and training departments as required
- – Participate in the further development of programs, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals
- – Manage selected HR projects on various topics
- – Participate in HR projects and resolution of HR matters for portfolio companies
- – Step in as backup for colleagues if and when needed
