Key Accountabilities Ensure a customer focused approach to create value andbuild a performance-based culture within the Planning &Logistics activities Develop, build and sourcethe capabilities to ensure customer satisfaction and our growthtargets are delivered in full Build and runthe Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process (S&OP) including demand planning, production planning, supplier planningand the integration of our core business partners such asdistributers.
Ensure effective relationshipswith peer groups and external partners such as 3PL andCo-Packers Drive long-term capacity planningin areas such as warehousing, logistics, production andsuppliers Ensure goods movement costs areoptimized in order to drive value creation for Upfield and ourcustomers Manage our inventory profile andensure the right trade-offs between service levels, cost andcash Strategy:
Develop and agree a strategyfor the supply chain, managing the trade-off between Customer
Service, Obsoletes and Working Capital within the best-balancedtriangle. incorporating the requirements of key stakeholders, theBusiness Team, and take responsibility for implementingit. Capital Expenditure:
Prepare and agreeannual and longer-term capital budgets and take responsibility forimplementation of approved projects for the factory.
Develop organisation and ways of working to supportstrategy implementation. Culture:
Management team to develop a style that enrolls all in theachievement of business objectives. Be the keypoint of contact for resolving all business issues with supplychain inputs/impacts Skills, experience andqualifications:
– A Master's degree in engineering, supply chainmanagement or business administration At least5 years prior experience in a similar role in a supply chain ormanufacturing environment. FMCG background aMUST A proven track record inleadership Project managementskills Business Strategy formulation andChange management skills
