We are currently recruiting for an experiencedMobile App Tech Leadto take responsibility of the architecture and management of the mobile team and applications. You will be joining a flat-structured, collaborative environment and will be working on cutting-edge technology. The team compromises ofIOS, AndroidandFlutterDevelopers, therefore, we are looking for someone ideally with experience in all of these areas.
The ideal candidate will havetechnical leadership/ project managementexperience. You will be reporting directly to the CTO/ General Manager of the KMMRCE group.
Responsibilities of the role:
Lead small team of 4-6 Mobile Developers- the primary focus will be to lead, architect, design and implement new user interfaces and features together with automated unit and integration tests
Review codes of team members, submit pull requests, team management etc…
Extensive interface with Traffic Manager, QA Team Lead, CTO etc…
Hands- on development where needs be- (more management than hands-on development, but must have strong coding capability)
Skills needed for role:
At least 8 years of experience
Extensive knowledge about mobile application development (ideally knowledge ofiOS,AndroidandFlutter)- from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
Prior tech leadership / Project management experience
Extensive architecture experience
Ideally who has worked in smaller teams/ start-up environment
Proficiency with writingautomated tests
Familiarity withRESTful APIs andmobile libraries for networking, specificallyRetrofit, Axios, Alamofireetc…
Familiarity with theJSONformat
Familiarity withGit
Familiarity with push notifications
Proficiency inKotlin/ Java/ Swift/ Objective-C/ JavaScript/ C#
Integration with (Facebook, Firebase, etc…)
Education is not important for this role- working experience is assessed more heavily
