We are looking for a Head of Inclusion tojoin our team ege, Dubai from September
2021. The successful candidate will have a trueinterest in all children and a passion for enabling and empoweringthem to learn and achieve. Candidates must have experience ofleading a successful SEN provision within a National Curriculum

School environment, however, we will also consider those with 2icresponsibility and looking for that next step in their career. GEMSstaff enjoy an outstanding school environment in which to deliver adynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.

You willbe responsible for providing strategic directionand development of provision for SEN students, monitoring theimpact of teaching and learning activities on the progress made bySEN students, supporting the development of high achievingclassrooms which support and foster the achievement of all pupils,leading in maintaining/establishing the whole school’sculture and ethos and providing strategies to support SEN studentsto meet our high expectations in the area of behaviour for learningas well as contributing to the effective working of theschool.

The successful candidate willhave:
• The ability to determine the strategicdevelopment of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provisionin the school
• Responsibility for day-to-dayoperation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provisionto support individual students with SEN or a disability
• The ability to provide professional guidance tocolleagues, working closely with staff and parents.
• The successful applicant will possess the willingness tocommit to Extra Curricular activities.
• ABachelor Degree in a related subject
• Acertified teaching qualification such as BEd/PGCE/PGDE orequivalent
• Certified SENCO award
• Experience working within (leading) a successful SENteam
• Experience implementing a new pathwayfor students with additional need, working 2 s belowage, is desirable.
• Experience of using avariety of assessment tools to identify students’needs
• At least years’ experienceof the National Curriculum for England.
