Our client, a leading regional Islamic bank based in the GCC is looking for a highly experienced investment banking professional to join their team and assume full responsibility for the Head of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking in the region.
You will be responsible for managing a team of people tasked with originating / executing and distributing deals across the GCC as well as further afield in MENA.
Requirements
Professional qualification; ACA, ACCA, CPA or MBA
Significant Investment banking experience based or transacting in the GCC, with solid experience in transforming a team and developing a clearly defined investment banking strategy. 15 – 20 years will be considered.
Experienced in the following products ECM / DCM / Syndications / Specialized Finance and Advisory
Demonstrated track record and hands on experience originating, structuring and executing transactions in the UAE / GCC / MENA region.
Solid network in the GCC region for purposes of growing the business.
Experience of both conventual and Islamic banking
Arabic speaking candidates are preferred but not mandatory
