Government Relations Coordinator Job in Doha, Qatar at Confidential Company

Job Description

·   Experienced in liaising with the Government authorities specifically food and beverage supplies and tackling the Supply Chain and Logistics management for call catering companies and non-core F & B outlets·        Establish contingency plans with the government authorities in preparation for any outbreak in the supply chain of food and beverages across all catering companies and non-core F&B outlets·        Coordinate with the catering department in ensuring full support and assistance are given to the catering contractors from the planning to operations and decommissioning phases·        Work with the correct authorities on every government related documentations and requirements that would support the catering contractors·        Identify and report issues and risks on supply chain and logistics aspects·        Develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures ·        Prepares progress reports during the planning process and identify and mitigate risks ·        Prepares post-event report with emphasis on the lessons learned

Skills

·       Must be bi-lingual – English and Arabic·        Ability to work well under pressure·        Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills ·        Should be detail oriented and a good organizer.·        Team player and able to foster a cooperative work environment.·        Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. ·        Computer literate; proficient in Windows-based programs.·        Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work within strictly defined deadlines·        Ability to work both alone or as a member of a cross-functional project team with minimal supervision.·        Great Attention to detail·        Good use of initiative and common sense·        Excellent organization skills and detail oriented ·        High standard of personal cleanliness and appearance·        Great time management skills
Minimum 4 years of experience working in a government entity.Must be born and studied in Qatar.
