Examine patients for illness orinjury, plan and provide treatment in the form of medicines andtherapies and refer them to specialist providers ifnecessary Conduct routine adult physicals aswell as youth sports physicals Practice activelistening and excellent communication skills with patients, theirfamilies and all staff, addressing patient concerns as the highestpriority Document treatments on digitalcharting software, adhering to Community Clinic’s medicalcharting standards, including ongoing progress notes and testresults Work with other physicians andsupportive staff as a team in order to collaborate on diagnoses andperform procedures such as splinting broken bones, stabilizing apatient for hospital transport and wound suturing
Provide education to patients and families regardingmedical conditions and their treatment options as well aspreventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise andhygiene ratory tests such as whiteblood cell count, blood sugar and x rays and interpret testresults
