10 years of experience in a LSAWpipe mill or a Spiral pipe mill or similar experience.
Good understanding of steel property and mechanism ofequipment as well as its capacity Goodunderstanding of not only Standards (API 5L, API 2B, AWS, ISO
3183,DNV OS-101). High interpreting ability of eachpipe standard and customers’ specifications, highplanning ability to prepare most effective forming and finishingprocedures and train operators. Enough knowledge as for the causeof pipe deformation. Prepare the Forming& Finishing procedure specifications (instructions) andissue them to the operators Plan, revise andestablish the forming and finishing internal standards
Approve or disapprove each Forming, Expanding andHydrostatic operator’s mill qualification according tothe internal mill operators’ qualificationstandard Make an education and training planfor Forming & Finishing operators and implement itaccordingly
