About Vascular Division:
Abbott Vascular is the world’s leader in drug-eluting stents. Abbott Vascular has an industry-leading pipeline and a comprehensive portfolio of market-leading products for cardiac and vascular care, including products for coronary artery disease, vessel closure and endovascular disease.
Develop, implement and maintain an effective Consolidation process, various Reports and Analyses that will provide EME management with accurate, appropriate and reliable analytical tools in assessing business challenges & opportunities across multiple geographies and business models, enhancing business decisions and performance assessment, monitoring and tracking results.
Commercial finance responsibility for MEA region.
Complete reporting package on weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly basis.
Prepare Monthly Performance Reports and other reporting KPI tools, as per due dates, in accurate manner and fully aligned with Abbott processes and policies, supported by appropriate commentaries.
Prepare daily/monthly sales customized reports to support the commercial team.
Prepare ad-hoc reports in due time.
Assist in key month end activities which provide oversight of completeness and accuracy of underlying management information.
Develop and execute reports to allow for routine analytical reviews of the Region’s financial and operational performance, leveraging the Region’s analytical resources and tools (variance analysis, pricing trends, KPIs, profitability, etc.).
Planning, Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
Proactively look for cost optimization opportunities and highlight areas of improvement in timely action.
Develop a professional relation with the commercial team and ensure that sales reports, budgets and calculations are explained and shared in time and at highest quality and accuracy.
In-Coordination with the EHQ FP&A, lead the aspects of the annual/quarter operating Plan/LBE processes for EME region including all relevant reports, system loads and ensure the LBE process adheres to EHQ as well as EME region guidelines.
Constantly improve and add reports to the Standard reporting package.
Participate to ad-hoc projects at management request.
Partner with the accounting/ treasury departments across EME region to consolidate the monthly expenses/accruals.
Cash-flow management (DSO, DPO, DOH)
Coach, mentor and develop a team of two financial analysts.
Fluent in English (= working language)
Expert in Excel and ability to program in visual basic a definite plus
PowerPoint skills, knowledge of Power BI, HFM, SAP is a plus
Highly analytical, with an eye for detail
Entrepreneurial and creative
Strong commitment, willing to take ownership
Experience managing people, with strong, professional communication and writing skills.
Minimum university degree in Finance / Accounting / applied economics
6 to 8 years in financial planning and reporting role
