Role

Purpose:

The position provides Financial Planning and Analysis as well as commercial support and guidance to the SHARE team

Role Details

–Key Responsibilitiesand Accountabilities:

Monthly Management Accounts

Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, high quality and insightful financial reports to facilitate and support decision making;

Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including detailed performance analysis of SHARE performance in the monthly pack;

Perform variance analysis and trend analysis to show key movements from Budgets, Forecasts and Prior Year;

Undertake monthly review of costs and work with SLT to ensure cost drivers are understood; and

Deliver continuous improvement of financial planning and budgeting and ensure compliance with appropriate financial standards and deliver “best in class reporting

Budgets and Forecasts

Manage annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the Group and work with Business Units and leadership team to develop a robust Budget which withstands rigorous testing; and

Support the Senior Finance Manager with the production and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews

Commercial Support for Business Cases and Partnerships

Provide data-driven and analytical insights to support key strategic and operational decisions underpinning the firm’s growth plans;

Evaluate new business opportunities, industries and expansions to achieve 5 year strategy;

Finance Business partnering with leadership team for new business cases and external partnerships including sensitivity analyses;

In conjunction, with the leadership team, explore and recommend alternative revenue opportunities within existing commercial partnerships; and

Develop and maintain financial models as needed, to support scenario analysis and evaluation of potential projects and expansions

Team

Enhance finance capability through effective management and coaching to drive towards a high performing finance team

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Skillset (role specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)

Can do attitude and an inquisitive nature

Strong commercial mindset with a data driven approach to forecasts

Strong presentation skills and ability to present to Senior Management

Minimum experience

1
-3 Years PQE from a reputable blue-chip company, consultancy or investment bank

Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver under time pressure.

Minimum Qualifications/education

Qualified Finance professional – ACA, CPA, CFA qualified is desirable.
