Key purpose:
The purpose of the Coordinator role is to oversee the functionality of the Facilities Management Hard and Soft services (FM), inclusive of Cleaning & Waste Management;
Logistics (LOG), inclusive of Business Support and Fleet Operations (FOP). The role of the Operations Support Services department is to manage activities across the event delivery. The Coordinator, Facilities Management supports the Operations Support Services Deputy Manager and the Senior Management Team to assist with the coordination of Event Operations Delivery, integrating with other Event

Functional Area

s, other business departments and external stakeholders. Essential (must have to perform the role):
• 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role working within a highly dynamic and complex environment, with specific experience of Hard and/or Soft Services facility management operations
• Flexible attitude and being able to adapt to rapid change
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in working in a multi-cultural organization
• Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to provide ‘hands on’ support with the venue team, undertake shift work and work extended hours when required. Desirable (advantageous)
• University/college degree
• Previous experience of Events or large facility Hard and Soft Service Operations
• Collaborates well with other business functions and a good integrator
• Communicates well and consistently from management level through to supervising service providers
