As part of the S&P Global Sustainable1, you will be part of a talented team of customer focused ESG specialists. The position reports to the Senior Manager, ESG Business Development for Benelux and Developing Markets (including India, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Cyprus) who is based in Amsterdam.

Your roleis to provide a seamless ESG customer experience, curating access to essential ESG intelligence from across S&P Global’s divisions. What’s in it for you:

As a key member of the EMEA ESG Commercial team, you will have the opportunity to build and grow ESG business for S&P Global.

This includes a focus on developing and implementing best in class client ESG solutions; contributing to S&P’s market development activities, and collaboration with colleagues to build a strong pipeline of ESG business opportunities with existing and new clients. We are predominantly seeking candidates who can cover both Financial Institutions and Non-Financial Corporates in Developing Markets, especially in the Middle East and India in the short term.

The precise territory and segment focus in the medium term will depend upon your experience, talent and interest.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute on a tactical plan to grow ESG sales to financial institutions, governments and corporates in Middle East and India.

Represent S&P Global Sustainable1 in client meetings, effectively diagnosing their needs and conveying our ESG value proposition.

Work with clients to advise them on integration of both standard and customized S&P Global ESG solutions, support them in use of ESG data and answer technical questions. In the short term, for 2021, the focus is on Market Intelligence ESG data and research.

Work closely with commercial teams across all divisions, to develop a coordinated approach to account planning and ESG outreach. In the short term, for 2021, the focus is on collaboration with Market Intelligence sales representatives.

Work with the Sustainable1 marketing team, to identify, plan, speak at and host relevant ESG events. Support every stage of the sales cycle, from leads generation, diagnostics, pitching, scoping, price negotiation and contracting through to monitoring delivery.

Plan and prepare presentations; write proposals; co-ordinate RFP responses; establish and contribute to maintenance of client accounts.
