Our client is one of the leading telecommunication companies in GCC market. They are currently hiring candidates experienced in OTT/IPTV for their Dubai branch.
Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):
• Lead Engineer in developing TV & OTT products and full knowledge in project execution in software development and hardware/system installation and commissioning.
• Assess Business Rules & Requirements and come up with a practical and cost-effective solution approach while balancing the Time-To-Market, Cost and Project Deliverables.
• Validate, do inter-operability tests, and integrate solutions on the Staging Environment for all TV & OTT related business rules
• Wil be able to design Back-End Systems with a clear view of Network Security, System Security, Network Firewalls and Application Firewalls.
• Develop solutions with the candidates in-depth Knowledgeable on MPEG-DASH, HLS, Digital Rights Management, IPTV, Multicast, Unicast, RTSP, RTP.
• The expert engineer will be able to adapt market trends from IPTV and OTT service deployment which are practical to deploy as a new and/or serves as a service enhancement.
• Will be able to implement possible solutions solving prevailing issues and/or requirements that requires the candidates practical skills as a full stack developer utilizing its skills sets HTML/JS/CSS, Rest API, BD [Oracle/MySQL,MongoDB and Hive], NodeJS, Apache, Tomcat.
• The candidate shall be able to design the architecture and develop the ELK Stack applications with the associated xBeats. Prometheus and Grafana architecture and development skill sets is necessary. Customizing Grafana and Prometheus shall be one of its role to expose to NODE JS.
