We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Draftsman – Surveying to join our team.
Position Overview
To support the Surveying Department in updating drawings and recording measurements accurately
Core Job Functions
To read and interpret technical drawings
To evaluate drawings and highlight missing engineering data
To prepare accurate coordinates for the surveyors to set out the site for -excavation works, footings, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, floor patterns, mock ups, ceiling sprinklers, lights, smoke detector, block works, parapet walls, external wall cladding, exterior lights, kerbs and wheel stoppers.
To communicating with others for information, guidance and advice on technical or process related topics
To ensure documents are recorded, filed and stored accordingly
To prepare as built and technical reports for :
Excavation and levels as built
Pile layout
As built of all floors
MEP required openings
Hoists, tower cranes and dome deflections
Floor levels
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Architecture
5-7 years experience in Engineering/Architectural works.
Other Skills/Abilities
Must be able to understand technical drawings.
Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit.
Ability to operate computer software including MS Office and Surveying Software
Ability to communicate with other departments – Proficient in English language
Experience of transferring raw data from surveying equipment onto a computer
