Job Scope: EEMEA ~40+ Distributors. The purpose of Distributor Manager is to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with specific key distributors to represent AbbVie in these distributors and meet our strategic goals while optimizing value for both organizations. The Distributor Manager is responsible to ensure adherence to the distribution contract KPIs with the business partners and to optimize the distribution network to ensure optimum reach and availability of products.
The Distributor Manager is responsible to proactively address and manage customer/distributor needs in coordination with all relevant stakeholders in a highly responsive manner. He/ She must be able to identify root causes and coordinate actions for resolution using new and previously developed tools CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and implement a robust Distributor management Governance system Build a Distributor business review framework to include different cross-functional topics and coordinate these meetings on a regular basis. Ensure distributor selection and renewal process follows all the protocols and global SOPs. Proactive tracking and follow up Distributor Agreement renewals. Responsible to conduct Distributor performance evaluation on a regular basis. Responsible to drive the channel performance by setting clear metrics with business partners and stakeholders especially commercial – inventory levels, service standards, account visits, market credit, delivery turnaround times etc.
To ensure that the obligations in the distribution contracts are implemented in time, quality and quantity. Recommend improvements in the distribution network e.g., number of distributors, service levels, commercial contract terms etc. Support management in implementing distribution / operating model projects Report market trend and competitor action with regards to distribution services and activities Identify any downstream distribution challenges for AA products with end customers and identify solutions in alignment with Distributor and country teams.
Support and drive Route to Market evaluation and enhancements. Ensure all Distributor terms such price changes, commission, markup, fees etc. are always up-to date in the agreements.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Individual contributor with cross-functional matrix management.
Area Trade Channel & Pricing Lead. Effectively manage matrix relationships with Area VP, ALT, Distributors and other cross functional team.
Graduate Certified or Proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel and power-point At least 5+ years of Distributor/commercial operations, Distributor management, relationship, Distributor Alliance, Distributor excellence type of experience Pharma, Consumer or FMCG background preferred TECHNICAL
Excellent MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint Strong analytical skills Good presentation…
