OverviewThis is a pivotable role responsible for developing and establishing finance operations infrastructure and strategy for Presight. In entails responsibility for all aspects of Financial Operations of the Presight Group including accounting, reporting, statutory audit, AP, AR, working capital management and taxes.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for all of Presight’s accounting and financial reporting functions for the including group consolidation, month end closing
Set up accounting and governance infrastructure in terms of personnel, processes and policies for Presight’s domestic and international entities
Set up process, policies and procedures for all financial operational activities
Responsibility for preparation and delivery of the financial statements and other associated financial sections of the Presight group’s Quarterly, half year and annual report
Focal point for the external audit process with ownership to manage end to end statutory audit
Ensure legal, regulatory and audit compliance for Presight and its entities
Support FDD during M&A and other business combinations
Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management reporting to the Group’s Executive Committee and the Board and associated variance analysis
Maintain high standards of internal control environment with respect to design, operation, monitoring and reporting
Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital and banking relationships
Develop technical accounting papers and maintain register of accounting issues across the Group
Ensure full tax compliance and tax management across domestic and international entities
Work closely with business finance teams, and other stake holder in the organisations to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and efficient financial reporting close process and associated reporting
Work closely with the Group Planning team to provide information required for forecasts, budgets and plans
Initiate to maintain and improve the Group’s financial accounting system and reporting processes
Work closely with Investor Relations, Group Planning, Tax and the Group’s advisors on corporate finance and capital market activities as needed
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in leading financial operations and group accounting for a technological company
Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge
Professionally Certified Accountant with a Big four experience Excellent communication and
stake holder management skills
Ability to inspire and manage multi-cultural team of finance professionals
