About The Role

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is responsible for providing legal advice to support Kerzner corporate and its managed properties across its global portfolio of brands which include the ultra-luxury One&Only Resorts and iconic Atlantis Resorts & Residences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Member of a four-person global legal function, provide day-to-day legal support to Kerzner corporate and its managed properties.

The role is a generalist role, with specific emphasis on negotiating and drafting a broad range of contracts (such as service, supply of goods, events, marketing, group business, sales, retail, transportation, license and leasing contracts) as well as supporting on a broad range of operational issues related to hotel management operations.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

PQE range will be 3 – 5 years of experience (law degree required).

Trained and qualified with a recognized international law firm or corporate.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in corporate and commercial work (experience covering the hospitality or travel industry is an advantage).

Self-started with ability to work autonomously and combine this with a “can-do” pragmatic approach, excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills and strong work ethic.

Ability to anticipate issues and estimate risks, define problems, collect relevant information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and exercise sound discretion and judgment in making decisions and performing duties.

International travel may be required.

French and Arabic language skills are not required for the role, but an advantage.

Excellent analytical ability and strong English Language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent drafting skills in English documentation, commercially aware and capable of working on a diverse range of matters.

Must be currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
