18-month fixed term contract position.
Salary: AED 15,500 per month.
Position: Surface Devices Manager
Reporting to: MEA Surface BG Lead
To provide a scalable, efficient and agile model for managing and maintaining commercial demo devices and Hub assets for customer demo and POCs as per our Loans & Give Away polices using GLIMR.
The purpose of this role is to engage and manage business relationship with device management Supplier in MEA covering UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Egypt with an option to expand to South Africa as required. End to end ownership of Microsoft Surface Commercial assets including the Internal devices, PO management, PO tracking, Incoming devices allocation to respective subsidiaries, Adding these devices to Glimr (Asset) pool, inventory count per location, devices transfer to device management vendor.
All requests for loans and give ways to customers are executed as per Glimr guidelines, Loans & Give away policy and SLA (Service Level Agreement) with device management vendor.
Manage business model with MEA Device management vendors.
Internal devices PO management and tracking.
MEA contact for PLS devices and tracking.
Manage all incoming and outgoing Glimr device loans and giveaway requires
Asset Tag Management and allocation to Subsidiaries.
Loans/Extensions agreements retrieval of devices.
Works with Loans and giveaway team and ensure all guidelines and compliance requirements.
Work closely with requestors/Approvers/Compliance/Loan & Give away team to ensure best engagement and process management.
Glimr gatekeeper, Glimr compliance Champ.
Managing business relationship with Ensure Services, SLA, PO, POEs, Inventory management for all locations.
Tracking the ROI on each POC
Managing Corp PLS fund
Creating PO for new launch products an ensuring timely arrival to MEA
3- 5 years account management or project management experience in the Business Solutions industry/ IT industry
Extensive knowledge of the hardware Business, Supply Chain Management and CRM.
Proven track record of working with customers and business partners to deliver results
Excellent communication skills of English [Read/Write/Speak], knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
A solid understanding of the indirect sales model and sales enablement
Technical knowledge of current Surface portfolio and Microsoft platform/products (Windows, M365, Teams etc)
Ability to manage Reseller partners
Proven record of delivering business value thru partners
Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
