Desalination Project Manager

Job Summary :


Responsibility include project implementation within scope of works/ Budget and Schedule

Pre-requisites

Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineer) discipline plus minimum 8 years of experience in Desalination/RO projects, at least 3 years in supervisory role.

Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic languages.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

(Project budget/ CPM/ cash flow/ resource histogram/ Project packages/ construction drawings/ design drawings and as built/ material take off/ material submittals/ Suppliers lists/ material specifications/ operation manual/ drawing-specs and manuals management& filling/ material requisition/ comparison sheets/ and prepare orders for material).

Develops specific plans, goals, strategy, budget, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources to convert all applications and systems to meet compliance requirements for Specific project.

Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of the project.

Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.


Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

Follows up with clients when necessary regarding unpaid invoices.

Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.

Holds regular staff meetings with project team.

Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.

Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel with the Admin and HR Manager.

Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.

Establishes, monitors, and implements standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

Directs quality assurance testing.

Performs a through diagnostic evaluation of operating systems and applications to determine compliance issues.

Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.

Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specification.

Monitors project results against technical specifications.

Reports timely to Area Manager on any problems on the projects, resolves andor escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Minimizes exposure and risks on project

Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored properly.

Prepare and Submit complete monthly project report to management.
