Apply your talent where it counts as an experienced Deputy Project Manager- Supply Chain based in Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia. This is fixed term fourteen months contract opportunity for maternity leave cover.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Chain Project Manager for the Hunter Class Frigate Program, you will provide project management support to the nominated control account managers (CAM) in planning, managing, scheduling and reviewing their control account to ensure the supply chain teams’ performance in terms of cost, quality and schedule.
More specifically, you will
Ensure that the supply chain schedule is appropriately integrated with the schedules of other key functions that we support and interact with (such as engineer and operations)
Contribute to a culture of proactive planning, management of change and performance monitoring
Oversee and manage supply chain team’s discipline, governance, content and accuracy within the integrated baseline schedule, basis of estimate, master resource file and cost account plans
Support the Supply Chain Control Account Managers through the ongoing maturation of schedule and material costs
Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration on project planning
Produce control account performance reports (as required), contribute to overall supply chain reporting routines and analyse data to draw out insights on the supply chain teams project performance
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have:
Degree qualification in project management, business administration, engineering or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in project management within a complex project environments
Knowledge of supply chain operations and project management tools and systems
Strong data analytics capability
Proficient user of Ms Office package especially word, excel and power point
