Position Overview: Configurable automation brand guidance Automation Manager is a crucial senior & core member of Kantar’s Automation and Dashboard team and will lead & support the end-to-end automation opportunity management framework within Kantar. The automation manager is accountable for maximising the CA BG product’s value resulting from the Scrum team’s work.

The automation manager will partner with business stakeholders globally to identify automation opportunities, conduct high-level assessments to prioritise opportunities, and create business cases to define the value proposition.

The Automation Manager is also accountable for,

  • CA BG and Dashboard release date(s) with a quality product to business teams.

  • Support Business teams on existing features and custom requirements.

  • Providing consultancy when interacting with Product teams on new requirements.

  • A successful applicant must have led large-scale automation global projects and identify business areas that can benefit from automation.

  • An automation manager must have a proven track record of handling large teams and should be a tech-savvy person who can bridge business requirements and Scrum teams. 

Key competencies: Good analytical skills, a challenging and enquiring mind, attention to detail and tenacity, and understanding of various automation tools and processes. Explore automation opportunities outside traditional Dimensions / Nfield tools.  

Responsibilities

— Owning the automation roadmap given by business and Product teams.

— Managing the automation Sprint Backlogs

— Defining the Sprint Objective(s)

— Manage budget, scope, releases, and stakeholders of the Product

— Review the work done by the Scrum team(s)

— Being available to the development team

— Effective communication to the stakeholders of the Product

— Collaborating with the Product team for the automation of Product Backlog Refinement

— Collaborating with Design Consultant(s) for designing maximum value product/feature

Behavioural Attributes

— A good understanding of MR Domain, end to end perspective from data collection to reporting.

— Good stakeholder management skills

— Good analytical skills with the ability to evaluate requirements from different angles with clear and logical thinking

— Ability to articulate key points and present findings to various stakeholders

— High level of curiosity, attention to detail and good communication skills

— A “zoom-in zoom-out” approach to identifying the best solution always ensure that the steps taken are coherent with the program vision

— Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

— 12-14 years of experience with 10+ years as a people manager

— Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2-4 years of successful experience in a directly related field

— Should have experience working on technical projects

— Should we have worked or managed a team that has worked on CA BG Projects.

— Certification as SCRUM master or any agile is mandatory.

— Experience in process mapping and process documentation

— Technical Project management experience

— Understanding agile concepts is mandatory

— Experience in automation technology is desirable
