To execute a collaborative process with thelocal teams in all activities surrounding generation of bothshort-term and long-term demand forecast for assignedportfolio. Review, consolidate and submit amonthly forecast (36-month forward looking) in SAP APO-DP forprivate market and institutional demand segments in-line withdefined planning timelines. Optimize forecastaccuracy both at the detail and aggregate level ensuring use of allavailable market intelligence (e.g. market trends, promotionalactivity, brand forecast review process), and fully leverage theFERCA process for root cause evaluation and exceptionmanagement.
Proactively manage in-market salesin collaboration with commercial colleagues and conduct IMS/TMSconversions for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
Work in close collaboration with Commercial and Financeteams to ensure robust and ongoing reconciliation and alignmentbetween the Operational demand forecast and Financial Planningprocess, in particular to support Operating Plan and Latest
Estimate updates. Orchestrate and facilitatekey forums to support demand plan generation including BFRmeetings, Market S&OP, Product Change Management and NewProduct launch meetings, regulatory and submissions reviews asneeded. Proactively work with the Above Market
Planners (AMP) to maintain correct master data, ensure all supplychain agreements correctly reflect market requirements and ensureall relevant SKUs are appropriately maintained in the demandplanning system.
Work in closecollaboration with AMP team ensuring the appropriate replenishmentplans and inventory management for the market (incl. ELC and intransit inventories) ensuring optimal inventory according to agreeddistributor inventory requirements and / or planning parameters ofPfizer in – market inventory. Reviewand endorse supply chain agreements and all parameters therein inclose collaboration with Above Market Planning (AMP) team. Pursue inventory objectives aligned with
Global, Regional, and Local targets. Workclosely with AMP team in managing aging inventory and work with
Commercial, Finance and regulatory colleagues to develop mitigationplans to minimize obsolescence risk. Identifywith AMP team root causes for Supply/ Obsolescence issues to ensurethat corrective actions are put in place and embedded across theorganization. Validate with AMP team themonthly Supply Plan that supports the business forecast consideringlead time, safety stocks and shelf life requirements.
Proactively manage the impact of Global, Regional andLocal supply issues, coordinating with and escalating to AMP, toensure timely resolution and proper communication with allstakeholders. Proactively communicate to AMPteam on market intelligence and dynamics affecting supply planningand work closely with AMP colleagues to generate appropriate Market
Supply Alerts as and when needed to inform stakeholders ofpotential supply interruption.
