Business Unit Overview – Defence Practice

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high growth Consulting team, where you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic projects in the defence sector.

You willbe part of PwC’s Middle East Defence Practice which works with defence ministries and organisations in the region. The team offers clients a wide range of consulting expertise including, but not limited to:

Strategy development and capability enhancement Organisational set up, transformation and development

Operating model design and implementation

Operational excellence

Acquisition and procurement Supply chain development and logistics transformation

Cost reduction and efficiency optimization

Industrial development

Responsibilities

The Middle East Defence Practice is looking for a Manager to lead the establishment and expansion of defence opportunities in the country. The role will include:

Working alongside prestigious client teams across the Middle EastWorking as part of a multi-faceted team of defence experts, consultants and technical SME’s, amongst others Advising, and helping to establish, military and defence organisations over a number of different strategic initiatives and programmes Delivering pivotal projects across the Middle EastPreferred skills

Ability to communicate with Arabic speaking clients (Arabic not essential but would be valuable) and to act with professionalism at all times Experience in delivery of defence projects and engagements as well as managing client relationships and business development

Proven leadership capabilities for both direct reporting personnel and wider programme teams

Internationally recognised qualifications relating to subject expertise All candidates must have experience of transformation within public sector defence organisations Minimum years experience required6-9 years of experience working in defence
