Job Description

Lead the development of store design and planogram to ensure effective space utilization, easy accessibility and maximum visibility to various category of products including quality shopping experience to C-Stores customers. Also lead the promotional and marketing activities for C store products and categories and partnership with external parties.

Store Concept design and Planogram

Responsible for developing new Concepts within Client’s Convenience Stores. Pilot them and coordinate roll out to all the targeted sites on successful piloting. Understands uniqueness’s and complexities of base assortment choices, local assortment choices, and vendor negotiation decisions to determine best planograms for given store clusters & customer segmentations. Help accountable for sales, same as portfolio team. Manage the accuracy of all plan-o-grams to achieve customer satisfaction by market area, maximize profitable sales, utilize space efficiently. Reviews store layouts and makes changes regarding space allocation by utilizing store specific sales, margins and loyalty information. Review ”live” ”pending” planograms and participate in the approval process along with the Category Managers and Senior leadership for various types and s of C Stores. Keep abreast with the latest trends and concepts related to store design and planning for convenience stores, smaller retail chains; their advantages and disadvantages, applicability in Client’s ecosystem etc.


Promotion Management:

Lead the development and execution of the promotion and marketing strategy in collaboration with Category Managers, Communications department etc. that drives aggressive sales growth from the CStores to meet division and organizations financial targets. Oversee campaign performance and monitor to ensure proper collaboration with Category managers, vendors, communication department and other divisions in Company to ensure all campaigns achieve their intended objectives. Guide Manager Assortment and Promotions regarding campaign performance optimizations in order to maximize campaign outcome in regards to targeting KPIs Oversee and approve development of promotional budgets, marketing plans, and the selection of advertising media i.e. radio, television, print, online media, and billboards to maximize the reach and exposure.

Partnerships

Manage strategic partnership for C-Stores including contract development, terms and conditions finalization, negotiation for any partnerships to final roll out etc. Analyses and make recommendations regarding the various proposal from the 3rd parties for partnership in convenience stores including project cost, roll out plan, impact on sales, alignment with Client’s brand and C-Store objectives etc.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, sales, business administration or any other relevant discipline

Masters or post graduate degree is Sales and Marketing will be highly preferable

12 years of experience in category management department, including 5-6 years in position of increasing responsibility
