Commercial Operation Manager within Equipment & Projects (E&P) Team plays an essential role in the growth of the business within MENATI region. The candidate will be responsible to develop proposals, negotiate and grow the New Units Orders. Will coordinate pipeline deals in the Region working closely with Sales Team and functions across the organization with a high level of autonomy
As Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Preparing, reviewing & developing proposals; ensuring deals deliver shareholder value; driving competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
Negotiating with customers (EPCs, IOCs, NOCs); participating in several technical & commercial clarification meetings either virtual or in person. Travel mobility & flexibility is expected, sometimes at short notice.
Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally. Technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
Formulating bid strategy in partnership with Sales Teams, identify Deal and Risk review requirements in addition to obtaining necessarily business approvals.
Coordinating with functions involving application engineering, legal, risk, finance etc. during ITO phase & proposal development.
Handling products (Gas Turbines, Compressors, Steam Turbines) and Solutions requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products and systems will be used.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor’s or Masters degree from an accredited university or college preferably STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
Have minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales development, Proposals and/or bid development.
Have experience with rotating equipment, energy and oil & gas sectors.
Have an understanding of contracts, business financials and commercial risk.
Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English, Arabic and/or French is a plus.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, manage tight deadlines & last-minute Customer requirements / expectations.
Have demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects with strong influencing & cross functional leadership experience.
