NAOS International are working in exclusive partnership with a successful, venture funded Trade Finance fintech.
Supporting their global growth on the back of a recent Series A funding we are assisting their search for a competent Operations Director to join as their Chief Operating Officer.
Having developed a successful trade finance and marketplace platform servicing global SMEs the business is looking for a COO will be a strategic advisor to the CEO and work together to bring operational efficiency in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead global operations as well as scaling the Company’s global presence.
Work closely with the team heads to understand operations and identify methods to increase efficiencies
Establish metrics and processes for operational excellence.
Lead major initiatives and new product launches.
Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
In charge of growth revenue – by bringing in new contacts and partnerships
Create a strategic, actionable plan to improve the efficiency, standardization, quality, and operational agility
Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
Oversee and manage the P&L
Execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives
Operations/business growth – improve and streamline operations, process, and system growth, improve, and sustain business growth
Direct reports will include Operations, Sales, Risk, Compliance and Legal
Requirements
Previous working experience in a senior operations role for 8 years, ideally with time spent at a growth stage company
Conversant and passionate about the Fintech landscape
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a deep network
Problem solver and critical thinker mindset
Hands-on experience and a proven track record in B2B “as-a-service” FinTech businesses such as the following sectors: BAAS, brokerage, payment preferred.
Languages: Business level English.
This role is ideally suited to a COO / Head of Operations / Operations Director / MD with a track record in the fintech, trade finance, commodities or shipping/maritime industries, has prior experience managing a small team and can work in both a strategic advisory and day-to-day hands on capacity.
