Job Summary
Lead the medical staff and ensure the hospital is providing high standards of care and patient safety
Ensure the implementation of all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, clinical excellence
Develop and implement Plans and Strategies for Business Growth & Development, Continuous Clinical Framework, Quality Improvement programs, Clinical Risk Management, standardization of Care, Best Practices, etc.,
Practice in your respective clinical specialty duties along with Chief Medical Officer Responsibilities and will be reporting to General Manager of the hospital
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to the following activities:
Attend to, manage and resolve patient complaints to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Administer personnel matters related to medical staff.
Actively participate in JCI accreditation project.
Assist in HIS implementation.
Member of the Hospital Management Executive committee and participates with the leaders of the governing body, management and medical staff in development of hospital plans, programs and policies.
Develop and foster effective collaboration between clinical departments, divisions, medical staff leadership, faculty and other affiliated services (internal/external) to ensure an integrated approach to providing services, and fulfilling the hospital’s clinical, research and educational goals and objectives.
Oversee major workforce and resource decisions for the hospital.
Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
Develop new business strategies to enhance market share and improve overall performance.
Work through the management team and medical leadership of the hospital, serving as a resource to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization and quality goals and objectives, analyze and utilize information to develop and support management decisions.
Be accountable for the overall success of operations of the hospital, to lead and oversee the development of operating and strategic plans.
Attend to system development, quality, fiscal management, compliance and clinical management measures, physician relationships, work culture enhancement, internal communication and consensus-building.
Manage clinical employees in accordance with the facility policies utilizing sound principles of practice and fairness.
Qualifications:
Degree in Medicine, should be a DOH Licensed, Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine, Emergency or Surgery
Post-graduate in Hospital Administration preferred.
Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge in Arabic is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience; responsibility includes hospital operations, administrative & medical leadership level in UAE Region
Good Organization Skills & Exceptional Interpersonal skills
Clinical Risk Management Experience
