Title: Business Development Representative

This individual is responsible for closely supporting Greenstone Ventures to explore, develop, and mature new revenue streams in markets and around value propositions similar or adjacent to Greenstone’s existing markets and value propositions.
This role requires a fundamental understanding of the alternative investments industry, as well as the ability to creatively perform all activities required to succeed in building new ventures. This
includes product and service design, business model design, marketing, process design, and various operations management functions.
A successful candidate is highly organized and a self-starter who is able to multi-task and switch easily between multiple projects.
1. TAKE AN ACTIVE PART IN EXPLORING MARKET OPPORTUNITIES AND CONDUCTING RESEARCH PROJECTS:
Assist in conducting in-depth feasibility studies of each new venture, including financial justification, go-to-market strategy, and more.
Lead research initiatives crucial to the prioritization and development of each venture.
2. PERFORM DUTIES RELATED TO SALES/PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING, AND CUSTOMER SUCCESS OF GREENSTONE VENTURES:
Receive, screen, and directly respond to inbound requests related to ventures as necessary/when assigned.
Ensure that such inbound requests are routed appropriately within a reasonable time period (i.e., respond to within one business day).
As assigned, be the point-of-contact for ventures’ functions, such as sales development, success management, and others.
Assist in creating marketing materials to promote ventures, for both internal and external purposes.
3. ASSIST IN THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF GREENSTONE VENTURES:
Proactively seek input to set up and prioritize internal and external meetings to drive forward projects, partnerships, and internal tasks.
Assist in keeping project management dashboards updated and relevant.
4. PROPERLY DOCUMENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES:
Ensure that CRM systems that track and manage ventures are maintained and updated, including Salesforce, Airtable, Close, and any other CRM systems deployed by Greenstone Ventures to support the various lines of business.
5. COMPLETE OTHER DUTIES ON AN ONGOING BASIS:
Complete other Greenstone projects and participate in other departmental programs, as assigned.
6. REMAIN FULLY COMPLIANT IN ALL ACTIVITIES (AS REQUIRED IN A REGULATED FIRM):
Strictly adhere to all of the Firm’s regulatory compliance policies in the performance of Business Development activities.
Attend regular compliance updates and ongoing compliance training as provided by the Firm and update processes and practices as necessary to ensure full compliance.
