Title: Business Advisor

Strategic Planning & Partnering:
Work as trusted adviser to the leader to help identify the initiatives of strategic importance & operational improvement that need to be pursued
Review key performance indicators by creating and maintaining dashboards
Gather on compile fact base to have productive discussions on topics
Take ownership of weekly & monthly reporting activities and other leadership reviews

Direct Support to the Group Director:
Prepare agenda for each meeting; and review upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the leader has the information/ pre reads needed to be as productive as possible.
Set leader’s strategic priorities and help the leader identify areas where they must direct their focus
Strategically manage leader’s time to ensure that the agreed priorities are delivered
Monitor information flow to ensure Leader’s involvement in project or decision-making process at the right moment
Assist in review meetings, track, and follow up on action points and report on the same

Project Management:
Actively support & oversee cross-functional & organization-wide projects or initiatives
Lead specific projects as agreed on key topics
Bring together multiple senior level internal and external stakeholders and help drive decisions
Conduct industry specific & functional research and highlight strategic insights to the Director

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Ability to navigate in an unstructured work environment to deliver business goals
Critical to have a ‘can do’ attitude with a hands-on multitasking approach
Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills
Experience reading and drawing insights from financial statements
Proven success in project management/coordination role
Agility with a focus on developing creative solutions
Great attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal capability for both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

PG Degree/ MBA in Business Administration from a Tier 1 institute
6 – 8 years of prior experience in strategy/consulting with an exposure to business operations. Chief-of-staff experience would be a plus
Must have worked on projects in strategy development, business planning, financial analysis of businesses & industries, feasibility studies, market analysis
Experience in UAE, KSA and Middle East countries preferred
