ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for an intern to join ourMarketing Brands teamin Dubai.
The role is responsible for maximising brand potential by supporting the Brand Operations Manager in recommending and developing consumer centric Brand Marketing strategies, and by implementing the activities required to achieve these strategies, which cover product, packaging, pricing, and communication touch points, in accordance with budget, time frames, portfolio strategy, and overall company objectives
Reports to: Brand Manager
Reporting Level:Mid-Senior
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Recommends and supports in the development of copy, distribution, merchandising, promotional, media, and communication strategies according to consumer insights information and in line with company objectives
Follows up on emerging market and business trends, supports in the initiation of ad hoc research projects, prepares research briefs, agrees research methods with the research team, supervises test material, attends focus group discussions, analyses research results, prepares research summary and action plans
Supports the brand operations manager in developing and completing all levels of brand plans (Strategic Brand Plan, Operational Brand Plan, Brand Review, Budget Plan, Cycle Plan) supported by BSE budgets
Contributes to the delivery of brand volumes constituting 1-5bn sticks per year (except newly launched GDBs like Kent and Vogue)
Responsible for developing promotions / activities stipulated in the brand plan, developing and coordinating all POSM materials, preparing the project recommendation form (PRF), preparing the execution / operational plan, coordinating with the TM&D team on the trade incentive plan, monitoring the execution of activities, and evaluating the performance of activities – all in accordance with brand strategy and corporate guidelines
Responsible for briefing advertising agencies to ensure that effective brand activities and BTL creatives are developed, produced, and implemented
Responsible for handling communication between brand marketing and trade marketing / end markets to ensure the cycle plan is effectively executed
Responsible for preparing, updating, and completing the following: Monthly reports, Brand Status reports, Operational Plans, Launch Plans, Cycle Plan Calendar, Dashboards, Retail Audit Summaries, Tracker Summaries, Cycle instructions Activity Evaluations, Budget Phasing and status updates

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Fresh graduates (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) from the field of marketing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Creative approach and “outside the box” thinking
MUST be on the own visa (student or parents)
MUST be available full-time
