The branch accountant is a position that functions at one of the company’s branches and is responsible for the overall accounting function as well as working along with the branch sales and warehouse teams of the branch with the below tasks & responsibilities

Perform all monthly and annual closing task for the branch – maintaining the accruals and prepaid expense schedules, branch staff payroll, etc and analyzing the trial balance monthly to ensure that all entries are recorded properly

Oversee and monitor the branch cash on hand function with the cashier by reviewing all receipts and payments to ensure that they are recorded correctly

Updating customer prices in the ERP

Monitoring and controlling branch expenses

Preparing customer rebates and sales staff incentive for the branch on a quarterly basis

Providing reports related to branch performance (Sales, collection, receivables, etc) to the branch manager and finance and accounts team at the head office when required

Coordinating with the warehouse incharge to conduct inventory counts on a monthly and random basis

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors in Accounting or related field

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

High level of integrity

Strong communication skills and use of Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience in Infor LN will be preferable
