The Board Affairs Associate handles SALIC’s board affairs activities in an effective manner, including providing support in managing all SALIC KSA board committees, board committee meetings, and board committee charters in accordance with the SALIC policies and procedures whilst providing high quality services to relevant stakeholders.

Strategic Contribution:

Ensure proper implementation of the related policies and framework by managing the day-to-day operations of the Board Affairs department, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating the delivery of work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards.

Report Management:

Ensure that all functional reports are completed in a comprehensive, accurate and timely manner, and comply with international principles and standards, and SALIC’s requirements.

Board Affairs Activity:

Coordinate, arrange, and organize administration support for SALIC KSA board and committee meetings including providing secretarial management for SALIC KSA Board.

Handle and manage all SALIC KSA board committees (except Audit committees) such as NRC, investment, GRC, etc.

Consolidate and act as a custodian of charters for SALIC KSA Board Committees based on applicable laws and regulations – this includes purpose of committee, associated mandate, members, and frequency of meetings

Assist the AVP – Board Affairs in amending and maintaining existing Board Committee charters for further effectiveness and efficiency, while ensuring alignment to applicable laws and regulations.

Coordinate and arrange SALIC KSA Board of Directors and other Board Committee meetings in coordination relevant internal and external stakeholders

Take minutes of meetings and circulate them to members for review and approval and share with concerned stakeholders.

Define and develop appropriate protocols to ensure compliance of SALIC KSA Board of Directors and Board Committees with applicable laws and regulations.

Archive all Board-related documents based on applicable laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field

3 years of experience in board affairs of administration
